Not a color to be feared
Excepting the shark
And sharks have been reported
Off the shrinking coastlines
Of Everywhere
Holey-moley
There goes the
Kyoto II Global Warming Shark
Swimming from Copenhagen
Across the USA
To feed on the
Minnows in California
Where there are no crops
But plenty of minnows
And endangered farmers
There is no gray wine
Thank God
I’m going to lie down with “Twilight”
I’m less afraid of vampires
Than I am of Congress

Speaking about an acquaintance, a friend asked, “Is he one of us?”
One of “us”?
His question made me very sad.
Many days I am so angry and scared that I can hardly breathe.
I believe that there are some here who don’t love this great land and seek to control and destroy it for their own ends, deprive us of our freedom and our identity as Americans.
Some have lost their way in the corruption festering in DC and other places of power, who can’t or won’t truly represent those who entrusted them with their votes.
Today, a giant balloon was blown about by the force of the Jet Stream.
A little boy was feared to be trapped inside. We held our breath, prayed and hoped for what seemed forever. The rescuers chased the balloon, in the air and on the ground, struggling for a plan to bring the child safely back to Earth. The balloon finally floated down and men ran to grab the tethers to hold it to the ground.
We breathed a great collective sigh of relief.
It mattered not whether this child’s family was one of”us” or one of ”them”, rich or poor, of what color or political persuasion.
The little boy who had hidden in the attic was safe.
I will continue to battle against what I believe to be the destructive intentions of those who would rule us.
But, I will remember that all of “us” and all of “them” are really one the same, Americans.

Did no one Twitter you or Mr. Gibbs?
You wouldn’t have known about it through the MSM.
I read, afterward, that it was a bunch of angry old folks, crazies, guys in costumes banging on drums and some nasty signs about limited government, freedom and all that.
On my sign: WASHINGTON
DISTRICT OF CORRUPTION
Don’t worry, sir, you weren’t forgotten for one moment. There were pictures of you everywhere.
May I suggest that you let the CIA do their job? I’m sure their “intelligence” knew we were coming.
The DC police knew we were coming, but judging from the lines at the port-a-potties, we surprised them with our size.
What wasn’t there was trash (except some epiphets thrown out by ACORN members.)
There were no arrests.
We are known by the company we keep.
I am proud to be part of this peaceful, honorable group.
You have chosen to discount us, sir.
But we are everywhere and we’ll be back.

Tears are in and out of my eyes today. Images of the Twin Towers coming down and of our heros still haunt me, but the grief and outrage have mellowed over time.
Stars glitter on my “Proud To Be An American” tee shirt, a leftover from Independence Day.
The shift from loving my country to the realization of being ‘in love’ with my country began when I started breathing again on September 12, 2001.
I am a patriot and I will be wearing this same red, white and blue bandana tomorrow,
as I march through Washington, filled with new grief and outrage, carrying this sign:
WASHINGTON
DISTRICT
OF
CORRUPTION
Tomorrow is September 12, 2009. I’m in love. I’m breathing hard. AND I WANT MY COUNTRY BACK!

Skip the train. A bus is leaving for DC at 8 a.m. on 9/12 and WHAM will ride!
Little WHAM will not be wandering the streets of DC, looking for the Capitol, the bathroom, or other threats to national security, alone.
Stay tuned for the “WHAM Report”.
“Punch back twice as hard.”, Mr. President?
Take your best shot.
WHAM will stand.

…and they shall call him Emanuel (Mt.1.23)
which means God is with us.
Good shepherd, wonder counselor, prince of peace, savior…
I just heard excerpts of from Ezekiel, dating back into the 90’s.
It’s ironic that the Lord of Life and this angel of death should share a
name.
This is the true outrage, the determination of a human beings worth by how
much time (age)might be left, getting the most out of the investment
(youth)and promoting society (improve the gene pool, i.e. let natural
selection and abortion get rid of the unproductive and less desirable
“people”.)
Keep in mind that they will have electronic access to your accounts, so if
you’re 70, you may be paying for insurance that can’t be used to help you.
The cost of Universal Healthcare is unsustainable.
More importantly, it’s just plain evil.
People of love, of any faith, must rise up.
We are not cattle to be bred.

From Free Our Health Care Now: “On August 21, the Journal ran an editorial entitled “Explaining the Town-Hall Protests” in which NCPA President John Goodman rejected the notion that town hall attendees were “un-American” and described them as exactly who you are: “cancer survivors, seniors and others who are very well-informed Americans.”
